If your visibility isn’t working yet, read this

Hey Reader

I want to name something I see all the time — especially this time of year.

Most business owners assume that if they:

  • keep posting
  • stay consistent
  • finally finish their website

…visibility will eventually “click.”

And when it doesn’t, the instinct is to do more.

More content.
More platforms.
More effort.

But here’s the truth I see over and over again:
most people don’t have an effort problem — they have an alignment problem.

Visibility isn’t about how often you show up.
It’s about how clearly people understand what you do, who it’s for, and what to do next.

I’ve worked with a lot of smart, capable business owners who were doing “everything right” on paper — and still weren’t getting traction. When we slowed down and actually looked at their visibility, the issue was almost always one of these:

  • The message wasn’t clear enough
  • The website didn’t guide people anywhere
  • There was no obvious invitation to engage

Posting more wouldn’t have fixed any of that.

Clarity does.

This is why I’m such a believer in stepping back before pushing harder — especially if you’re heading into a reset or “starting from scratch” moment this month.

If you’ve been wondering why your visibility hasn’t turned into momentum yet, you’re not behind. You may just be building on a shaky foundation.

If you want clarity on where your visibility is breaking down — and what to fix first — book a Visibility Clarity Call here:

The Magic of You: Q1 to Q2 - ↓ As we close out Q1, this is the moment most business owners either drift… or decide. Before you jump into Q2 planning, take 20 minutes and answer these five questions: Where did revenue actually come from? Not where you hoped it would come from. Where did it actually come from? What visibility activity produced inquiries? Email? Referrals? LinkedIn? Ads? Be specific. What did you spend time on that didn’t convert? Keep it. Improve it. Or cut it. What offer was...

Hey Reader Lately, I’ve been thinking about how we invite people into our work. Not just with marketing or messaging… but with intention. Those first touchpoints? They’re powerful. They shape how potential clients, partners, or community members feel about working with us. And yet... they can be hard to navigate. I remember in my early days, I put so much pressure on every invitation. I wanted it to be “just right”... polished, persuasive, perfect. But what I’ve learned is this: the most...

Hey Reader One of the biggest visibility mistakes I see? Business owners spending hours on social media… while completely ignoring their Google Business Profile. And here’s the truth: When someone searches for what you do, Google Business often shows up before your website. That means your profile isn’t just a listing — it’s a first impression, trust builder, and lead generator. If your profile is incomplete or outdated, you may be losing clients without even realizing it. Here are 3 quick...
